Terms, Conditions and
General Information
1)
Prices are for the room and assume 2 people maximum in double/twin rooms.
It is possible to have 3 people in Superior Room 6,
extra charges apply - please refer to current tariff.
2) Prices include breakfast, unless otherwise stated. Breakfast is served in the dining room 8am - 9am,
unless
otherwise notified on check-in. Room 2 breakfast is served in the room.
3) Check-in is between 2pm and 9pm.
Earlier or later check-in times available by
prior arrangement at £10.00 per hour.
We do not offer 24hr service. Late night call-out charges apply after 10pm
(Min. £20).
4) Standard
Rooms 3, 7, 8 & 9 Check-out
time is by 10am.
Superior Rooms 1, 4 & 6 check-out is by 11am and
Deluxe Room 2 check-out is by midday.
These times may be extended at our discretion.
Extra charges apply at a rate of £10 per hour or part thereof.
Regular customers check-out is by 11am,
except in Room 2 when it is by Midday.
5) Staff
are generally available up to 10pm. In the event of an emergency
during the night please call Piers
on his mobile. His number is on our business card –
take one from the entrance hall.
If you do not have your key
and require night-time access after 10pm there is a callout
charge of £20.00.
Lost/non-returned keys are chargeable at rates
contained in the Guest Information Folder.
6) Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge.
Small dogs (Yorkshire Terrier size) are also welcome at
a price of £5 per night.
You are responsible for any damage, and cleaning,
caused by the dog, on a "new for old" basis.
Dogs may not be left in the rooms unattended, nor may
they go on the furniture.
We do not accept any other type of animals.
7) We regret we do not cater for children under the age of 18yrs,
except by prior arrangement.

8) Accommodation prices will
vary
depending on how you book:
Where you book through a third-party
website, prices will be higher to
partially cover the sales commission
due to the
third-party. To obtain the discounted rates above you must book
direct with us on 01803 523118.1
9) Reservations require a valid credit/debit card.
10) Cancellation
- In the event of full or partial cancellation within 3 days (72hrs)
of 2pm on the date of arrival,
or early departure, guests will be
responsible for payment in full.

11) Where reservation/payment for accommodation is by Credit or
Debit Card you irrevocably authorise Active Leisure Rentals
Limited to charge all monies due, including any
cancellation, cleaning or damage charges, to the card.
12) You and
the person booking are jointly and severally responsible for all
charges, including but not limited to,
charges related to damage
and excess cleaning.
13) The Cosmopolitan is strictly a non-smoking establishment.
For the benefit of other guests and our staff
we take an uncompromising stand on
smoking. It is not allowed under any
circumstances.
By booking with us you accept that if
any member of your party breaks this rule or is
suspected of having broken this rule, your
booking will be cancelled, no refund will be
given and you and your group will be required
to leave. You will be charged
a minimum 3 days room rental at our rack rate
to compensate us for being unable to
let the room. You will also
incur cleaning charges of up to £100.00.
14) Your Security is important to us. Only registered
guests may enter the property.
Registered
guests have keys. DO NOT LET
ANYONE ELSE ENTER AS YOU EXIT OR
ENTER
THE PROPERTY.
You must ensure that
the front door is firmly
closed on your entry
to and exit from the property. Your
failure
to do so
may
lead to your stay being terminated
with all charges
being due.
15) Booking with us
infers acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
16) We may change our Terms and Conditions without notice, but the
price we confirm to you won't change.
17) All services are offered subject to availability.
